Easy '03-'04 Mustang Cobra
Fog Light Mod

From: http://www.svtownersassociation.com/svtoaforums/

Have you ever thought you would like your Fog Lights to stay on; even with your high beams. Well I found an easy way to do it on my GENERATION EDGE forms. No wiring; no cutting. If you are careful; you can reverse this later if you do not like it. The administrator goes on to explain that it works because; there is a relay that needs to be energized to block the fog lamps. By interrupting the signal to the energizer; we can keep the fog lights on even with the high beams. So I wondered if this would work with a Mustang/Cobra. It does. It takes about 5 mins.

1.) You will want to go to page 129 in your '03-'04 Mustang Cobra owners manual. Find the Power Distribution Box; under the hood on the drivers side; just behind the shock tower. Remove cover and find the #1 relay. It maybe hard to remove. I had to use a small pair of pliers, but be careful.

2.) There are 5 pins on the bottom. They are numbered 1 through 5. #1, #4 and #2 are the 3 small ones. Do not touch the two bigger pins and do not mess with the middle pin #4.

3.) You will want to carefully bend the #2 pin all the way over and flat on the side of the relay. Reinstall the relay. If you change your mind, carefully bend it back. A new relay is about $15 if you mess up.
